According to the Heads of the Creative Departments at Dúnlaoghaire College of Further Education (DFEI), there is no other device that can facilitate industry leading learning experiences like Apple Mac can.

Capable of handling the most intense and demanding creative tasks, Mac syncs perfectly with industry standard workstation software such as Apple’s Logic Pro X, Ableton Live and Pro Tools, allowing students to produce music, just as they would in any top recording studio in the country.

In order to maintain the highest standards of learning, the college recognised the need to refresh and upgrade their Apple iMac and Apple media software to ensure that it is continually up to date. Since upgrading their Mac Lab to the latest iMacs, the college have seen a huge increase in the standard of cross-media work. With the enhanced software, students now have the ability to create video soundtracks including original music, dialogue recorded in the studio, and sampled sound effects, all perfectly synchronised.

Not only that but the college reports that student creativity, confidence and productivity has been enhanced and they are now producing the kind of work which will be demanded of them within their industry when they graduate.
